History

ABIPECS, the Brazilian Pork Industry and Exporter Association, was established in 1998, from the fusion of two domestic entities: a Producer association and an Exporter Association. Our goal is to develop and modernize the production and the international trade activities of the Brazilian Pork industry.

Mission

ABIPECS’ mission is to congregate, coordinate, represent and defend the interests of the pork exporter, the pork producer and the pork products industry, promoting studies and finding solutions for the problems of the group attached to private and public organs. It also aims at cooperating with competent authorities in everything which is related to production and internal and external trade of pork and its deriveds.
